The Preview

The Preview window allows you to view your artwork zoomed out and even tile images and play back animations.

To open the Preview, head to the Window menu and select Preview. Using the More button on the top right, you can choose the scale of the preview, the window background color, and the canvas background. For more on backgrounds, read Changing Backgrounds.

To tile the canvas such that it repeats to fill the window, select the Tile Mode option. In animation documents, the Preview also displays controls to play and pause the animation.
