System Integration

Pixen is a fully native macOS and iOS app. As a result, it features deep system integration. Here are some of the features you can enjoy:

• Access the native macOS Share Sheet via the File menu or Pixen's main toolbar.
• Use Quick Look in apps like Finder to preview Pixen documents. Just hit the spacebar.
• Place the app in Dark Mode either automatically or at all times.
• Enter Full Screen mode to focus on your creations.
• Use gestures such as pinch-to-zoom to zoom in and out of the canvas.
• Switch between multiple documents easily by opening them in tabs.
• Sync documents with Macs or iPads over iCloud.

Apple Pencil Support

If you're connected to an iPad via Sidecar, Apple Pencil works great with Pixen for Mac. In the Settings window, you can even customize what action the Apple Pencil double tap gesture should perform. Some examples you can pick from: switch to the last tool or toggle the color picker.
